A toaster is capable of a lot more than you might think at first glance. Even more than toasting your bread, actually. Treat it poorly, and it will find a way to collude with other toasters to overthrow humanity. But treat it well, and…well, you and that little old toaster might actually find love. It’s not a love that either of your communities will sanction or even understand, but you know best: that seemingly simple appliance loves you from the coils of its heart.
After finding the toaster from the post below I did I little more digging and came across this lovely and super cute one. I think this might be one of the most colorful tattoos I’ve seen in a while.
I think the toast art trend is really taking off. I’ve yet to make my own toast art project but I have many in mind. I think my first effort will be some needle felt toast and butter. I’ve been getting a little better at needle felting and I’ve learned to stop poking my fingers and bleeding all over my projects. Anyhoo, go check out the fine toast art on Make.
Wait, what? Someone animated this whole thing with artistically brown toast? I think I’ve seen the pinnacle of toast art. I may have to stop this blog now.
Bread is my favorite food in the whole world. So after seeing this cute little crocheted bread guy, It just made me feel happy. I really like that toast and bread are turning up in handmade crafts.
